PCB Design Engineer

Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a skilled PCB Designer/Layouter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience (more is welcome) in designing printed circuit boards (PCBs) and will be proficient in using electronic design tools. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting international projects and collaborate with a team of industry experts and designers.
Job Description:
  • Read datasheets thoroughly to comply with design functionality.
  • Perform schematic capture/design and PCB layout using industry-standard design tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
  • Design, and develop PCB layouts for various electronic products, ensuring they meet all technical requirements and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand design requirements and constraints.
  • Generate Production/Manufacturing files, Gerber, assembly drawings, and other documentation necessary for PCB fabrication and assembly.
  • Work closely with manufacturing partners to address any issues related to PCB fabrication and assembly.
Required Skillset:
  • Attention to detail. Care for aesthetics.
  • Solid fundamental understanding of analog, digital, mixed-signal, power circuits.
  • Good understanding of layer stack management and design rules.
  • Understanding of high-speed layouts (USB/MIPI/Ethernet/SDIO).
  • Knowledge of antenna layouts.
  • Can conduct design reviews and provide meaningful suggestions to ensure the quality and integrity of PCB designs.
  • Preferred: Experience with signal integrity analysis and high-speed PCB design.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with simulations, mechanical design, and 3D CAD software.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.  
  • At least 1 year of experience in PCB design. More experience is welcome.

Embedded Firmware Engineer​

Job Description:
  • As an embedded firmware engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software for microcontroller-based systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of embedded systems and a passion for developing/working on innovative software solutions. The position demands knowledge in C/C++ programming and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Responsibilities:
  • Software Development:
    • Design and implement systems using C, C++, and other languages (e.g., Python, C#).
    • Write code for both high-level applications and mid-level device drivers.
    • Utilize a variety of processors and hardware peripherals (e.g., PWM, ADC, DAC, CAN, UART, etc.).
  • Hardware Integration:
    • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components.
    • Engage in board bring-up, debugging, and validation of new hardware.
  • Testing and Debugging:
    • Create and execute testing plans and protocols.
    • Identify and solve code and integration issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in embedded software/firmware development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and/or embedded Linux.
  • Strong understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor architectures.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
  • Basic laboratory equipment proficiency (Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Multimeter, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Initiative to identify, narrow down and solve technical problems.
